Welcome to CertifAI. These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and CertifAI Educational Services, operated by DIGIAEON Services Pvt. Ltd. ("CertifAI", "Company", "we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the CertifAI platform, website (certifaiedu.com), and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By registering for an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which form an integral part of this Agreement.
1. Definitions
In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:
- "Platform" means the CertifAI website (certifaiedu.com), web application, mobile application, and all associated services, APIs, and tools.
- "User" means any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Platform, including Students, Trainers, Institute Administrators, Parents/Guardians, and visitors.
- "Student" means an individual enrolled in any CertifAI certification programme, whether through a free or paid plan.
- "Trainer" means an individual authorised by CertifAI or an Institute to deliver the CertifAI programme to Students.
- "Institute" means an educational institution, school, college, corporate entity, or organisation that has entered into a business arrangement with CertifAI to deliver the programme to its members.
- "Content" means all educational materials, including but not limited to session materials, concept explainers, trainer scripts, lab briefs, quizzes, assessments, capstone briefs, skill badge descriptions, and any other learning resources provided through the Platform.
- "Certificate" means the digital certification credential issued by CertifAI upon successful completion of a certification level.
- "AI Trainer" means the AI-powered virtual trainer feature available on the Platform that provides adaptive, personalised learning experiences.
- "Portfolio" means the collection of work, journal entries, lab outputs, and capstone projects submitted by a Student as part of the certification programme.
- "Razorpay" means Razorpay Software Private Limited, the third-party payment gateway provider used by CertifAI for processing payments.
2. Eligibility
2.1. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the Platform. Users below the age of 18 ("Minors") must have verifiable parental or guardian consent before registering.
2.2. For users aged 13 to 17, a parent or legal guardian must create a parent account and provide consent for the minor to use the Platform. The parent/guardian is responsible for the minor's use of the Platform and compliance with these Terms.
2.3. By registering on behalf of a minor, the parent/guardian represents and warrants that they have the legal authority to bind the minor to these Terms.
2.4. The Platform complies with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) with respect to the collection and processing of data of minors.
2.5. Users registering from India must comply with all applicable laws of India including the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Users registering from jurisdictions outside India are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local laws.
2.6. Institute and School accounts must be registered by an authorised representative of the organisation with the legal authority to bind the organisation to these Terms.
3. Account Registration & Responsibilities
3.1. To access the Platform, you must register for an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information including your name, email address, and phone number. You agree to maintain the accuracy of this information.
3.2. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password). You must not share your login credentials with any third party.
3.3. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify CertifAI at support@certifaiedu.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
3.4. Each account is for a single individual user. One person may not maintain multiple accounts. Institute accounts may have multiple authorised administrators as permitted under the Institute agreement.
3.5. CertifAI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are found to be in violation of these Terms, including but not limited to accounts with false information, shared credentials, or fraudulent activity.
3.6. Email verification is required to complete registration. Unverified accounts may have restricted access to Platform features.
4. Plans & Access
4.1. CertifAI offers the following plans with a cumulative access model:
- Free Plan: Access to the first 4 sessions (Module 1: AI Demystified). No payment required. Access is unlimited in duration but may be subject to restrictions at CertifAI's discretion.
- Explorer (Rs 2,999): Full access to Level 1 (14 sessions, 3 modules). Includes Level 1 assessment and certification.
- Specialist (Rs 4,999): Full access to Level 1 + Level 2 (34 sessions, 8 modules). Includes Level 1 and Level 2 assessments and certifications.
- Creator (Rs 5,999): Full access to Level 1 + Level 2 + Level 3 (58 sessions, 14 modules). Includes all assessments and certifications.
4.2. Account Validity: Paid plan access is valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. After the validity period expires, access to paid content will be restricted. Students may contact support@certifaiedu.com for renewal options.
4.3. Free plan accounts remain active indefinitely unless the account is terminated by the user or by CertifAI in accordance with these Terms.
4.4. Access is cumulative: upgrading from Explorer to Specialist adds Level 2 access to your existing Level 1 access. The upgrade price is the difference between the plans.
4.5. Levels must be completed sequentially. Access to Level 2 content requires completion of the Level 1 assessment. Access to Level 3 content requires completion of the Level 2 assessment.
4.6. CertifAI reserves the right to modify plan pricing, features, and structure. Existing purchased plans will be honoured for their validity period.
5. Payment Terms
5.1. All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay, a RBI-licensed payment aggregator. CertifAI does not store credit card, debit card, or bank account details directly.
5.2. All plans are one-time, non-recurring payments. There are no automatic renewals, subscriptions, or recurring charges.
5.3. Prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be applied as required under Indian tax law.
5.4. Upon successful payment, you will receive a payment confirmation via email and your plan will be activated immediately.
5.5. In the event of a payment failure or discrepancy, please contact support@certifaiedu.com with your transaction details. CertifAI will work with Razorpay to resolve any payment issues.
5.6. CertifAI is not responsible for any charges, fees, or exchange rates imposed by your bank, payment provider, or financial institution.
5.7. Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Certification & Validity
6.1. Certificates are issued by CertifAI Educational Services upon successful completion of the required assessments, portfolio, and capstone project for each level.
6.2. Certificate Validity: Each certificate is valid for a period of two (2) years from the date of issuance.
6.3. Renewal: Certificates may be renewed by passing the corresponding re-assessment. Renewal terms and fees (if any) will be communicated at the time of renewal.
6.4. All certificates are digitally verifiable through the Platform's public verification page at certifaiedu.com/verify. Each certificate carries a unique verification code.
6.5. CertifAI certifications represent the successful completion of the CertifAI programme at the specified level. They do not constitute a degree, diploma, or government-recognised qualification unless explicitly stated.
6.6. Three levels of certification are offered: Level 1 (AI Explorer), Level 2 (AI Specialist), and Level 3 (AI Creator). Each level has its own assessment criteria, pass requirements, and certificate.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All Content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, software, curricula, frameworks, assessment materials, and the CertifAI brand identity, is the exclusive property of CertifAI Educational Services / DIGIAEON Services Pvt. Ltd. and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India), the Trade Marks Act, 1999 (India), and applicable international intellectual property laws.
7.2. Upon enrolment, CertifAI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes during the validity of your plan.
7.3. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download (beyond reasonable personal caching), store, or transmit any Content except as expressly permitted by CertifAI.
7.4. Portfolio entries, journal entries, capstone projects, and other original works created by Students remain the intellectual property of the Student. By submitting such works to the Platform, you grant CertifAI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and archive such works for the purposes of assessment, platform improvement, and anonymised showcase (with your consent).
7.5. CertifAI proprietary frameworks (including but not limited to RCTF, EDIT, PRODUCT, and other named frameworks) are proprietary intellectual property and may not be used for commercial training or education outside of the CertifAI programme without written permission.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Share, transfer, or allow others to use your account credentials or access.
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any Content from the Platform.
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technologies to access or extract Content from the Platform.
- Cheat on assessments, quizzes, or examinations, including but not limited to having another person complete assessments on your behalf.
- Use AI tools to fraudulently generate portfolio entries, journal entries, or capstone project submissions without genuine personal engagement, as required by the programme methodology.
- Submit plagiarised work or misrepresent the authorship of any submission.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform software or AI systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform, servers, or networks connected to the Platform.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users, trainers, or CertifAI staff.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the Platform.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security measures, access controls, or content protection mechanisms.
9. Certificate Revocation
9.1. CertifAI reserves the right to revoke any certificate that was obtained through fraud, plagiarism, cheating, or any violation of these Terms.
9.2. Grounds for revocation include, but are not limited to:
- Submission of plagiarised or fraudulently generated portfolio entries or capstone projects.
- Having another person complete assessments on the certificate holder's behalf.
- Providing false identity or eligibility information during registration.
- Any form of academic dishonesty as determined by CertifAI's assessment integrity review.
9.3. Before revoking a certificate, CertifAI will notify the affected user and provide an opportunity to respond within 14 days. The decision of CertifAI following the review will be final.
9.4. A revoked certificate will be marked as invalid in the public verification system. The user's access to the Platform may also be suspended or terminated.
10. Data Retention
10.1. Active Data: Your personal data, learning progress, portfolio entries, and assessment records are retained in active storage while your account remains active.
10.2. Archive: Upon account closure or expiry, your data will be moved to archived storage and retained for a period of five (5) years. This includes learning records, assessment results, and certificate data for verification purposes.
10.3. Payment records are retained for eight (8) years in accordance with Indian tax and accounting regulations.

11. Limitation of Liability
11.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CertifAI, its directors, employees, partners, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Platform.
11.2. CertifAI's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to CertifAI in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11.3. CertifAI does not guarantee any specific employment, career, or academic outcome as a result of completing the certification programme.
11.4. CertifAI is not liable for any interruptions, delays, errors, or defects in the Platform caused by factors beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to internet connectivity issues, third-party service outages, force majeure events, or government actions.
12. Indemnification
12.1. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CertifAI, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit through the Platform.
13. Disclaimers
13.1. The Platform and all Content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13.2. CertifAI does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
13.3. AI-powered features on the Platform, including the AI Trainer and AI-assisted grading, are provided as educational tools and may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete responses. Users should exercise their own judgement.
13.4. Third-party tools referenced in the curriculum (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Bolt.new, Manus AI, and Canva AI) are not owned, operated, or endorsed by CertifAI. Access to and use of third-party tools is governed by their respective terms of service.
14. Governing Law
14.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14.2. Subject to the arbitration clause below, the courts of New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms.
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1. Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting CertifAI at support@certifaiedu.com. CertifAI will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receipt of the complaint.
15.2. Mediation: If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may request mediation. The mediation shall be conducted in New Delhi, India, by a mutually agreed mediator.
15.3. Arbitration: If mediation fails, the dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), as amended. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed mutually by the parties. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be New Delhi, India. The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding.
15.4. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction where necessary to prevent irreparable harm.
15.5. For complaints related to consumer rights, Indian users may also approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
16. Termination
16.1. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@certifaiedu.com. Upon termination, your access to paid Content will cease immediately.
16.2. CertifAI may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that CertifAI determines, in its sole discretion, violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is harmful to the business interests of CertifAI.
16.3. Upon termination: (a) your licence to access and use the Platform and Content is immediately revoked; (b) your data will be handled in accordance with the data retention policy outlined in Section 10 and our Privacy Policy; (c) any certificates already issued and not revoked will remain valid for their stated validity period.
16.4. Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and Dispute Resolution.
17. Modifications to Terms
17.1. CertifAI reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least thirty (30) days' notice of material changes via email to the address associated with your account and/or through a prominent notice on the Platform.
17.2. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Platform.
17.3. The "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms will be revised to reflect the most recent modification date.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CertifAI with respect to the Platform and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements, whether oral or written. Any separate agreements entered into between CertifAI and Institutes or business clients will supplement (but not contradict) these Terms.
